When you make a mistake, my friend, do you get upset with yourself? Do you become critical and hold some sort of negative judgement about yourself? That seems to be a pretty common reaction. But maybe there’s another way we can look at our mistakes.

Have you ever broken down the word itself?


Maybe what it really means is, “That take was a miss. It didn’t work. I need to try again.” We could consider each action as a “take” like when they’re filming movies. “Take 1″, “Take 2″, etc.

It’s not like we’re trying to make mistakes, my friend, and they’re not the end of the world. In fact, they’re probably the quickest way to success!
