“Anger is never without an argument, but seldom with a good one.”
~ Indira Gandhi
You may think you’re angry at someone else, my friend, but below the surface is a different story. When you dig around some you’ll eventually discover that you’re really angry with yourself.
You know the saying, “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”? At some level (whether in thought or action) you are responsible; in some way you have let yourself down. Your anger is a message to you. What is it trying to tell you? Do you need to stand up for yourself? Do your best not to take action while angry — these are the actions we most regret — but do take stock of what triggered it.
Let your anger be the dawning of awareness and look for the message. Once you honor the calling, my friend, the anger will simply drop away, no longer necessary.
