“The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome. The hilltop hour would not be half so wonderful if there were no dark valleys to traverse.”
~ Helen Keller
We learn and grow through life’s challenges and often the knowledge gained is proportionate to the struggle undergone. After all, a triumph isn’t much of a triumph if there wasn’t any struggle. This is how we gain the clarity, strength, smarts and wisdom necessary to climb mountains.
All of life’s contrasts help us to shape our future. Just keep in mind, the old “been there, done that, and not going there again” statement is loaded with power but it’s incomplete. While it’s good to know what you don’t want, it’s best to know what you do want.
Use your energy wisely, my friend, climb only the mountains you want to climb.
