“The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day.”
~ Albert Einstein
You know what happens when you contemplate the mysteries of life, my friend? Have you tried it? Have you contemplated the fact that our bodies are composed of trillions of cells each living their own life? They are born, fulfill their purpose, they die and then new ones are born to take their place. Each cell is doing its part to keep your body alive and functioning.
Do you think the cells in your right cornea have any idea about the life of a cell in your left calf? Or have you ever thought about how your life might affect the life of a pine tree growing in China? Sure it seems farfetched, yet we are all a part of life on this planet. Have you ever looked out into space and gazed upon the stars contemplating the fact that they are each the center of their own solar system, just as we are each the center of our life.
I mean really now, my friend, just how is it that you can feel the longing of your lover even when there’s an ocean and thousands of miles between you?
