“If we can recognize that change and uncertainty are basic principles, we can greet the future and the transformation we are undergoing with the understanding that we do not know enough to be pessimistic.”
~ Hazel Henderson
We can never know for sure exactly what the future holds. But there is one thing you really need to know, and that’s that all that being pessimistic does is use your creative power destructively, in essence creating what you don’t want.
While you can’t control the future, my friend, you definitely can influence it. The thoughts you’re thinking now, the expectations that you’re holding, are in essence your prayers to the Universe. God is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. That means He is with you 24/7, tuning in and responding to your every message, not just when you sit to consciously pray or meditate.
It’d be smart of you to take note of how your life’s been going, my friend, and see if it isn’t what you’ve been, perhaps unconsciously, asking for.
And remember, the future hasn’t happened yet. You can let it be fueled by your fears or your faith. You get to choose.
