“Little children do not bother about religion and nationality, rich or poor; they just want to play together. At a young age the sense of oneness of humanity is much more fresh. As we grow older, we make a lot of distinctions; a lot of artificial creations that are actually secondary become more important, and basic human concern diminishes. That is a problem.”
~ The Dalai Lama
Ahhh, the innocence of children…
Just imagine how it would feel if you were free of all the judgments and distinctions that create separation. Heck, isn’t this what’s required to enter the kingdom of heaven?
Yoga means union, my friend, union between body, mind, and spirit and with everything else. We practice yoga to understand this connection. Can you see how we have much more in common with everyone than we acknowledge? There’s more that’s the same than different.
Why not drop the attention on differences and play instead? Life would be much more enjoyable that way. Don’t you think?
Hmmm… it might even be heaven.
