We have all been on both sides of erring, as a victim and the as the one who erred. Neither side feels good, does it?
The only way it can honestly, truly, from deep inside feel good, from either perspective, is with forgiveness. We have to remember no one ever does anything that harms another from a space of feeling good about themselves. It may not always be easy, but when you grasp that truth compassion comes more readily. Forgiveness will follow on the heels of that compassion.
If that fails, my friend, take a deep breath and ask yourself, “What would LOVE do?”
