Do you suppose yoga was developed with this in mind? Change, renew, rejuvenate — yep, it does that. Keep us from hardening? Yep, it does that, too.
But there’s more to it than just what happens on the physical level. Have you noticed the correlation between mind and body — “As in mind, so in body”? Did you know that a flexible mind allows for a flexible body? And the reverse is true as well. Remember, like the trees, it’s those that can bend with the wind that can withstand the storm.
Do your yoga, my friend, and keep an open mind. Loose and supple feels so much better than hard and stiff. And it lessens the chances of breakage, too!
