“How does this show up in my life?” you might ask. If you step back and start noticing how you’re feeling about things in general, would you say you have a predominance of thoughts of annoyances, drudgery, shame, apathy, anger, or other negative emotions? Or would you say happiness, appreciation, positive anticipation, gratitude, or other positive emotions are predominant?
Learning to recognize the difference between the positive and negative thoughts and the emotional states they generate is important, my friend. Our emotional states are the energetic signals we’re emitting and the Universe is responding to. Are you aware of what you’re asking for?
And let me point out the difference between appreciation and gratitude. While they are both very positive energetic states there are two important yet subtle differences. First, there’s an element of humility that comes with not taking Life for granted, knowing that Life as we know it is, in and of itself, a gift for which we should all be grateful. And second, if you understood that the very fact that you have a desire means the Universe is already at work orchestrating its delivery, wouldn’t you be grateful? Trust this, my friend, deep down in your core. All comes in due time.
So, are you ready for it? If your answer is yes, your gratitude will usher it in.
