“The body is inherently a collection of seamless networks rather than a collection of separate parts. These connective tissues surround, support and penetrate all of the muscles, nerves and organs. This is the stuff that shapes us and gives us both stability and mobility.”
~ Rich Ennis
Sometimes we get so caught up in the details of one issue, whether in the body or in some other aspect of life, that we can’t see the forest for the trees; we forget that everything is connected. Or, it could be that this is an entirely new concept to you.
Well, my friend, you can trust that you are never alone and you already have access to all you need. I know this can be hard to grasp, but keep in mind that you are alive and breathing and, while you can’t see it, you are surrounded by air that is full of oxygen. Without that oxygen you would die. Just because you can’t sense something with your five physical senses doesn’t mean it isn’t present. You just haven’t tuned into it yet.
So embrace this interconnectedness in every aspect of your body, mind and life. Could it be that the disconcerting thoughts that you’re thinking are causing you to forget to drink enough water, eat healthy food, or in some other way neglect your body?
Remember, my friend, you need to take care of your body so it can take care of you!
