What is Kangen Water®?

Kangen is a Japanese word that translates to “return to origin” in English. Both Kangen® and Kangen Water® are registered trademarks of Enagic USA® and refer to the drinking water produced by Enagic’s ionizers. Only Enagic’s ionizers are certified by the Japanese Ministry of Health and the ISO (International Standardization Organization) as medical devices and have been used throughout Japan in homes, clinics, and hospitals for well over 40 years.

Enagic’s machines are counter top appliances and create Kangen Water® by electrically restructuring tap water as it moves through an electrolysis chamber which separates the positive ions present in the water from the negative ions. Two streams of water exit the machine: one the Kangen Water® which is anti-oxidant rich (very high negative ion count) and alkaline (pH of 8.5-9.5); and the other with a high positive ion count and acidic (pH of 4.5 to 5.5).

Why is Kangen Water® so powerful?

Kangen Water® has three properties that make it powerful:

ORP Value: ORP (also called Redox Potential) stands for Oxidation/Reduction Potential. The very high count of negative ions (which reduce oxidation and are called anti-oxidants) in Kangen Water® reverse the aging process by neutralizing free radicals (positive ions) which wreak havoc in the body and cause decay and aging. The anti-oxidants in Kangen Water® are energizing and abundant and, because they are electrically created, go to work immediately upon drinking.

Small Water: The restructured (Kangen®) water, with its smaller clusters of water molecules and negative ORP value, is both super hydrating and cleansing. It is readily absorbed as it flows without resistance through the cells’ membranes, flushing out the waste and cleansing the body on the cellular level.

Alkalinity: Kangen Water® is alkaline with a pH range of 8.5 to 9.5 and helps to restore the body to its natural, disease resistant, alkaline state.

Why are Enagic®'s machines superior?
