Do you understand the power of your imagination? Most people truly don’t have any idea just how powerful their imagination is and I’ll bet that’s why Spirit wants us to get a clear grasp on imagination today.
When the word “imagination” comes up, I always think of Albert Einstein’s quote, “Imagination is everything. It’s the preview of life’s coming attractions.”
Everything begins in our imagination. Imagination is a mental faculty that resides on the fifth dimensional (5D) plane of Spirit. That 5D plane is limitless, Infinite Intelligence. It’s in our imagination that the immaculate conception takes place. The idea is conceived and, as we ponder it, nurturing and embellishing it, we shape it into a form that eventually gets birthed on the 3D plane of matter, physical life on planet Earth. Hence the phrase “on Earth as it is in Heaven.”
What vision are you nurturing? What are you imagining and focusing your attention on? And how do you feel in the process?
Some people think they don’t have any imagination. They’re so caught up and stuck in their fears, anger, resentment, or grief, rehashing old stories and traumas from the past, that they won’t allow themselves to imagine anything good for themselves or others. We think of our imagination as the positive projection of our heart’s desires. But our imagination goes to work with equal dedication to any seed we plant. It doesn’t only work on the “good” ones, it goes to work on our fears as well. Let’s not forget that our doubts, worries, and concerns are all in our imagination as well.
You get to choose how you use your imagination, on what you use your imagination. Whether you’re focusing on and imagining something you’d love or something you fear, both are in the future. They haven’t happened yet. Your imagination is your creative faculty. It’s where everything begins. First in thought, and then in form. As above, so below.
Now, you can’t go wrong here. You can use your imagination to dream up something you’d love or you can use your imagination to dream up something you fear. With the former you’re highly likely to thoroughly enjoy the process and the result and with the latter you’re highly likely to dread the process and result. Obviously, we know which we’d prefer, but when you wake up to the power of the misguided use of your imagination you really can’t go wrong with either. Lessons learned the hard way tend to stick around for good.
So why not spend time today consciously using your imagination, perhaps in your prayers, to envision and show God the end result you’d love? Be very clear with with the picture you generate and make sure that there are no ifs, ands, or buts that interfere or water it down. Remember, the picture you hold in your imagination is a “preview of life’s coming attractions.” Couple your imagination with faith and you’ll guarantee it’s manifestation.
Note how imagination has the words image and magi (think magic) in it. The process of manifestation is so much easier than we let it be. We just have to master our thinking.
Remember, everything begins in your imagination. Envision what you’d love, despite all the facts that state otherwise, and don’t be dissuaded. In the same way you thought you’d never be able to do the postures the way you’re doing them now, through the repetition of aligning with your dreams daily you bring them to life.
